The difference between Windows 10 Enterprise and LTSC
In short, Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC is a special edition of Windows 10 Enterprise with less frequent features updates (the version is not updated every six months), some missing features, and no Windows Store preinstalled.
Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC), also known as Long-Term Service Branch (LTSB), refers to a special edition of Windows 10 designed specifically for scenarios and devices that require feature consistency, such as: Point-of-sale terminals, medical devices (CAT/MRI scanners), industrial processes, etc.
What is the difference between LTSB and LTSC?
Enterprise LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) (formerly LTSB (Long-Term Servicing Branch)) is a long-term support variant of Windows 10 Enterprise that is released every 2-3 years.
Each version is supported with security updates for 10 years after release and intentionally does not receive feature updates.
